This apartment building is placed in the junction of two streets in a quiet suburb of Athens. It consists of 8 apartments of various sizes and an underground parking space.
The building was designed as the meeting point of the two streets. The two facades are the result of a volumetric game of additions and abstractions.
Most importantly, the corner of the building has been subtracted, resulting in a reduced volume, creating more space for better perception of the whole volume from the street.
Built surfaces on the facades protect the privacy of the bedrooms from the street.
